The Experience

What is The Horrorland?
The Horrorland is Miami's #1 immersive haunted experience, set inside Jungle Island. Directed by Francisco Santos — a Cirque du Soleil veteran — it features world-class production, Hollywood-caliber sets, professional actors, and full sensory horror unlike anything else in South Florida. Ranked Top 10 Haunted Houses in the USA by USA Today with 4.8/5 stars on Google and 2,000+ reviews.
How scary is it?
Very scary — by design. The Horrorland is a high-intensity experience featuring strobe lights, fog machines, tight corridors, startling audio, and actors who get extremely close. It is not recommended for those who are easily frightened, have anxiety disorders, or are not fans of horror.
Why should I go to The Horrorland?
Whether it's the ultimate date night, a night out with friends, or a solo adrenaline rush — The Horrorland delivers a complete sensory horror experience. Haunted houses, scare zones, circus shows, themed cocktails, live entertainment, and photo ops all in one iconic Miami location.
Do the monsters touch you?
No. Our actors are professionally trained and will NOT touch guests. However, they will get extremely close — within inches — to maximize the scare. Guests must also NOT touch, push, grab, or make physical contact with any actor or staff member. Anyone who touches an actor will be immediately removed from the event without a refund.

What does a ticket include?
All tickets include access to all haunted attractions, scare zones, circus and live shows, food & cocktail stations (purchases separate), photo opportunities, and special effects throughout the grounds.
What is the difference between General Admission and Fast Pass?
General Admission grants you a single entry into each haunted attraction. Fast Pass is the premium upgrade: it includes unlimited re-entries to every attraction AND skip-the-line access at all haunted houses.
Are tickets refundable?
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any reason, including weather, personal reasons, early departure, illness, or unused fast passes. Please review the event details carefully before purchasing.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) both online and on-site at the box office. Cash is also accepted on-site.

Rules & Safety

Is there an age limit?
The minimum age to attend is 13 years old. Guests under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (18+). We strongly recommend 16+ for the full experience.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. All guests must sign a liability waiver before entering the event. The waiver is available digitally on-site at the entrance. Guests under 18 require a parent or legal guardian to sign on their behalf.
What if I get too scared and want to leave?
Emergency exits are available throughout all attractions. Our staff will assist you in exiting safely at any time. Once you exit any attraction, re-entry is not permitted, and no refunds will be issued for early departure.
Is it safe to attend if I am pregnant or have a health condition?
The Horrorland is NOT recommended for guests who are pregnant, or who have heart conditions, epilepsy, seizures, severe asthma, respiratory conditions, severe anxiety, claustrophobia, or any other condition that may be aggravated by intense stimuli, strobe lights, fog, or confined spaces.
What is NOT allowed at The Horrorland?
Strictly prohibited: pets, full-face costumes or masks, large bags/backpacks, weapons or prop weapons, outside food or beverages, running, smoking or vaping, and entering under the influence of alcohol or drugs. All guests are subject to bag checks and security screening.

At the Event

When is The Horrorland open?
The Horrorland runs multiple seasonal editions. The main Halloween Season runs September 10 – November 1 (Thursdays through Sundays plus select weekdays). Special editions include Valentine's Horror (February 12–15) and Krampus / Christmas Horror (December 11–27). Check our Event Info page for the current schedule.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. The event takes place on outdoor terrain that may be uneven or wet, so high heels are strongly discouraged. Halloween costumes are welcome as long as they do not include full-face masks or functional weapons.
Can I take photos or videos?
Photography and video recording are NOT permitted inside any of the haunted houses or scare zone attractions. Designated outdoor photo opportunity areas are available throughout the event grounds.
Is there food and drinks at the event?
Yes! The Horrorland features themed food vendors, cocktail bars, mocktail stations, and snack areas. Expect horror-themed cocktails, seasonal specials, and late-night bites. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
What happens if it rains?
The Horrorland is open rain or shine — rain adds to the atmosphere. In the event of severe weather posing a safety risk, operations may be temporarily suspended. Always check our social media on the day of your visit for real-time updates.
Is there security at the event?
Yes. Private security personnel are on-site throughout the entire event. All guests are subject to bag checks and security screening upon entry.
Is The Horrorland accessible for guests with disabilities?
Indoor haunted attractions are wheelchair accessible. Some outdoor areas feature uneven terrain that may present challenges for guests with mobility limitations. We encourage guests with specific accessibility needs to contact us in advance. Service animals are welcome.
